Flat Track Racing: Forrest Lucas to be Grand Marshall of Lucas Oil Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National Event.

President and CEO of Lucas Oil Products will personally welcome back the return of the Legendary Indy Mile at the Lucas Oil Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National September 13th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. 

Forrest Lucas, president and CEO of Lucas Oil Products will be the Grand Marshall of the Lucas Oil Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National flat track event on Saturday, September 13, 2008.  He will participate in race ceremonies at the legendary Indy Mile at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis. The Lucas Oil Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National opens at 4:00pm for timed practice, and the opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00pm.

 Forrest Lucas and his wife Charlotte founded Lucas Oil in 1989 in Corona, CA.  The company produces premium lubricants and additives for the trucking, consumer automotive, motorcycle, industrial, and agricultural industries.  Lucas Oil high performance products are also found throughout the racing industry.  Recently, the company’s profile took the huge step forward of acquiring naming rights to the new Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, home of the NFL Colts. 

Lucas Oil is deeply involved in American racing and played a major role in bringing back the Legendary Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National to the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  Lucas Oil is also providing a production crew that will be taping the race for broadcast on the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour on Versus TV.
