Coventry Speedway: Match preview - Bees v Lakeside Hammers

THE Buildbase Bees return to Elite League action after the World Cup break with a tough home match against Lakeside.
The two teams will meet in the Craven Shield Final later in the season but it is league points that are up for grabs on this occasion - and the Hammers have already won at Brandon once this year.
The men from Purfleet have one of the best away records in the Elite League, and although Joonas Kylmakorpi - who did huge damage to the Bees at reserve back in May - is now back in the main top five, they have plenty of Brandon specialists who could cause problems.
Leading the visitors is Coventry asset Andreas Jonsson, who dropped just one point from six outings on his last visit - and both Jonsson and Jonas Davidsson were superb in last Monday's World Cup round, Davidsson's previous Brandon form (he averaged just 2.78 from nine matches at Coventry before this season) now seemingly a thing of the past.
For the Buildbase Bees, club No.8 Ben Barker continues to deputise for Stan Burza, who is currently out with back muscle damage.
Fellow reserve Andreas Messing crashed out of the recent home win over Swindon, but he expects to return against his parent club.
The match marks the start of a busy programme of home matches for the Buildbase Bees during the remainder of July, as they meet local rivals Wolverhampton on Friday and then troubled Peterborough next Monday.
BUILDBASE BEES: Chris Harris, Olly Allen, Simon Stead, Billy Janniro, Rory Schlein, Andreas Messing, Ben Barker.
LAKESIDE HAMMERS: Andreas Jonsson, Leigh Lanham, Adam Shields, Jonas Davidsson, Joonas Kylmakorpi, Ricky Kling, Lubos Tomicek.
