WORLD Cup winner Niels Kristian Iversen is back in Wolverhampton colours for their tricky clash with Eastbourne at Monmore Green on Monday.
Iversen, who secured victory for Denmark in their own country on Saturday night with a win over Poland’s Tomasz Gollob in the penultimate race, is keen to help Wolves move away from the bottom two.
Freddie Lindgren, who was consistently the top man for Sweden during the tournament, once again skippers the side.
Iversen said: “Saturday was an amazing night for me, one I will never forget. I still can’t believe what happened now!
“It’s been tough at Wolverhampton, I personally have enjoyed riding there and feel I’ve done a good hob. Now I hope we can go back there and get some good results as a team.”
Eastbourne include British World Cup riders Scott Nicholls, Lee Richardson and Edward Kennett – all good performers around Monmore Green.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Ales Dryml, Niels Kristian Iversen, Christian Hefenbrock, David Howe, Kenneth Hansen, Nicolai Klindt.
EASTBOURNE: Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger, Lee Richardson, Cameron Woodward, Edward Kennett, Simon Gustafsson, James Brundle.
