Poole Speedway: Match Report - Pirates 24 Belle Vue Aces 12 (meeting abandoned)

Heavy rain caused the abandonment of Poole's Elite League match against the Belle Vue, Aces, denying the Pirates the chance to go top of the table. Poole seemed to be cruising to victory after 3 maximum heat scores in the first four heats but the heavens opened as the riders came out for Heat 7, leaving match referee Paul Carrington no option but to call a halt to proceedings.
