Plymouth Speedway: Devils face long trip to Redcar.

Plymouth launch their Conference League programme with a visit to Redcar on Saturday evening (May 3).

The Devils will retain the side that has opened the season with three successive wins. After completing the double over Weymouth in the Devon and Dorset Trophy, Plymouth followed up with last week’s 50-40 triumph over the Conference League All Stars.

Plymouth go into the campaign looking to improve on last season when they finished third in the Conference League table, while Redcar – who rode under the name of Cleveland – were second from bottom.

The match forms part of a double header, following immediately after the Redcar v Scunthorpe Premier League fixture, which is due to start at 6pm.
