Sidecar Speedway: Media Day gets Gold Trophy proceedings underway.

The action in Adelaide has begun ahead of the 2007 FIM Track Sidecar Gold Trophy 1000cc, with some of the competing field in attendance at Wayville Showground for the event’s Media Day.

Scott Christopher, Darrin Treloar, Gary Jackson and their passengers were on show for members of the media to get their first taste of the week’s action.

The riders suited up and took to the track for photo opportunities, and later took part in interviews with both print and radio media.

It was a successful start to the event which continues with a practise day on Friday, followed by the main evening of racing on Saturday night.

Ticket sales have increased rapidly over the past few days, and over 1600 tickets have now been pre-sold for the event.
