The Moore Park round of the Battle Of The Twins win went to Kevin Mc Donald and Karl Hosie from Invercargill.

They won three of the five races but were lucky to come away uninjured in race four. McDonald’s kill switch faltered midway through the turn and they slowed in front of a rapidly closing Nigel Payton and Chris Harper. Harper managed to scrub off enough speed before they made contact. Hosie received minor leg injuries but was able to continue in the later races. Liam Stockman and Blair Lock finished second but were the leading combination before the final heat.

Unfortunately they came unstuck exiting turn two while  in second place before spinning in field. They rejoined but trailed the field home only picking up one point. Had they moved up one more place they would have forced a run off. Payton finished third from Josh Wilson and Darren Butt.
