King's Lynn Speedway: Lambert suffers Grand Final heartache again
Apr 15, 2016, 09:10
KING'S LYNN star Robert Lambert suffered Grand Final heartache at the British Under-21 Championships for a second year running.
As he did at Coventry in 2015, Lambert cruised to victory in all five of his programmed rides before being forced to settle for silver medal in the final deciding heat.
It was disappointment again for the 18-year-old who will return to the Roger Warnes Transport Stars' line-up for next Thursday's home meeting against Leicester in the Elite League.
Meanwhile, Stebbings Car Superstore Young Stars team member Nathan Greaves put in an encouraging display to reach the semi-finals while Josh Bailey endured a tough night at Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium.
