World Junior Speedway Championship: Fricke to the Max

Austrlian Max Fricke breezed through the WU21 qualifying round in Terenzano, Italy on Saturday night. The highly rated young Aussie blasted his way through to the next round remaining unbeaten throughout the night.

Fricke was joined in the next round by Danish duo Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen and Mikkel Bech, Sweden's Victor Palovaara and Great Britain's Simon Nielsen who beat Italian Michele Paco Castagna in a run off for the final qualifying spot.
