Paris Speedway is currently under-going some major changes in their management. Positives for Canadian Speedway are that we have signed a 2-year deal to run speedway at Paris, with the Paris fairboard taking control of the day to day management of the track and it's facilities.
Included in this is the running of the practice days. Sunday May 13th saw the first event of the 2007 speedway year. A well attended event on a glorious sunny day. The next practice day will be next Sunday, May 20th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm. The cost for every rider is $15.00.
With the 2007 season just weeks away, The CSRA is asking that all riders please report to us and acknowledge their intentions for 2007. With the new clothing rules at Welland, a new breed of rider will appear there, and we ask that all riders confirm their commitment ASAP!
With the great work being done by the Paris fairboard, we have commited to them that our ridership will be strong. We need riders to have this same commitment to them. The show needs riders and we need to show that we are as willing as the Fairboard to put on another year of great shows.
With the closure of some American tracks, we wish to take this opportuntiy to offer our welcome to them for the 2007 season. The Friday and Saturday night weekly races, should satisfy any rider's thrills and we look forward to seeing them throughout 2007!
