This is s reminder that Mid-America Motorcycle Speedway will be racing this Saturday, October 3rd.
Practice for all classes will begin at 4:00 and racing will begin at 6:00. We have spent the last two weeks preparing the track for these last few races. All of the riders that made it to our practice this past Wednesday felt the track was smooth and offered plenty of traction.
We also have event on October 10th. This will be an Indiana Flat Track Association event. Youth classes will practice at 2:00 and race right after practice. Adult classes will practice at 4:00 and race at 7:00. If practice is completed early, and the track is ready to go, we will most likely start the heats early.
October 17th is our next to last race of the season, and is a Mid-America points night. Practice for all classes will begin at 4:00 and racing will begin at 6:00.
We had scheduled an event for October 31st, not realizing that this was Halloween. We are going to move this event from Saturday, October 31st, to November 1st. This is the final race of the Mid-America points series, and the final race of the year at Mid-America. Practice will start at noon, and racing will start after practice.
We need to ask for the support of all of the riders and spectators that support flat track racing in Indiana. This has been a brutal year on us. Between the economy and the rain outs we need as many people to attend these last few events. It is also a good time to introduce some new riders and spectators to this sport.
See you at the races!
