Stoke raced to a convincing 121-59 win at Gin Pit to remain unbeaten at the top of the Northern League table.

Six Stoke riders were unbeaten as they made light work of an Astley & Tyldesley side that fought gamely throughout, on a well watered track on a hot, sunny day. Ben Dickenson passed Simon Munden in heat 8, whilst A & T's other points picked up came at the expense of new Stoke reserve Mike Holdcroft.

The first three heats were drawn, before A & T pulled away to take the win. Adam Phillips raced unbeaten, with plenty of good racing in a really entertaining match.
