"The world cup always produces great racing and it is a great opportunity for British speedway supporters to see many riders that do not usually grace these shores." explains Paul Bellamy, managing director, BSI Speedway, rights holders of the world championship. "Prices have been set to encourage fans to turn out in force to support their country and set them up for the race off and final in Poland."

Team Great Britain, led by Grand Prix riders Scott Nicholls and Chris Harris, will be up against Australia, Poland and Slovenia, as the teams compete for a place in the SWC Race Off (16 July) and Final (18 July) that will be held in Leszno, Poland. It will also be one of the few times that speedway fans will be able to see Grand Prix stars like Australia's Jason Crump and Poland's Tomasz Gollob riding in the UK this year.
