The first Qualifying Round of the Individual Speedway European Championship was a very good meeting, lot of good races, without any accidents.

1000 spectators came to Mureck (Austria) to see this first UEM meeting for the last 12 years on "Mr Bössners" track.The sun was shining and the temperatures had been around 24degr. Celcius.

The track had been well prepared, races had been fair and hard and the public could enjoy a really good entertainment.

The Qualifying Round 2 will be held in Stralsund (Germany) the 9th of May 2009.
