Kyle has taken a personal quest to helping the future of his home country's sport. He has joined forces with GT Tuning Canada to provide new 13-Year old Junior speedway sensation Tommy Hensby with a laydown Jawa engined machine for the 2009 season.
Kyle said " It is important for the sport of speedway to grow in Canada. I had a great opportunity to come to the world stage from the tracks in Canada, and with the new push for junior riders in Canada for 2009, I felt it was important to help where I can and join together with Tim Murray and GT Tuning Canada to give a bike to Tommy (Hensby). he has shown good things since he started last year. I think that if he continues on the path that he has shown with his determination, he will follow me to the UK to represent Canada!"
This move by Kyle is important for the growth and support needed to expand the opportunities for all junior riders in Canada, and Tommy's gratitude is overwhelmingly going to be seen by his performance on the track!
Kyle will be watching closely and he has been giving many tips to Tommy over the winter period during his stay in Canada. With Kyle's imminent return this week to Poole to begin his new venture in the Elite League, he will leave much information for all the junior riders will capitalize upon for their own quests.
