It is with great pleasure that I have the privilege to announce the 2009 Paris Speedway racing season events, will take place under the sanctioning of the CMRC (Canadian Motosport Racing Club) writes David Hensby.

This is the first time that the CSRA and CMRC have combined in a season of speedway racing Canada, and we are very pleased that this transition will provide a very successful 2009.

The return to Friday night racing and the new 2-week schedule will turn the Paris Speedway racing nights into a fan favorite once again!

The CMRC have for many years brought moto-x back into the forefront of racing events in Canada, and with the new focus and direction that the CSRA is heading in 2009, this partnership is perfect timing for both parties.

We thank the President of the CMRC, Mr. Mark Stallybrass and his staff for all their hard work and dedication show in our dealings so far.

The Welland Speedway events will remain under the watchful eye of the CMA, including the Canadian Speedway Championship on Saturday July 18th.
