Astley & Tyldesley held the club's AGM in the Miners' Welfare Club on Thursday evening.

A very constructive meeting took place in which plans were agreed and a Committee elected for the 2009 season. Priority work this winter is the completion of the club's Development Plan and Business Plan, as it looks to access funding available and expand its activities in a long term planned approach.

Changes to the Committee have seen Lee Phillips resign his position as Junior Team Manager, to be replaced by Brian Dickenson. Gary Nuttall stepped down as Track Manager, but retains the position of Treasurer. Brian Smith was elected as the new Track Manager.

Paul Whitelegg moved into the vacant position of Development Officer, with Joanne Whitelegg becoming the Assistant Treasurer. The other post holders were unchanged.
