Coverage of the exciting 2008 Lucas Oil Indy Mile AMA Flat Track Grand National motorcycle race will be telecast on the Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour on Versus TV, Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 6:00pm eastern time.
The race was held before a sell-out crowd on the legendary Indy Mile track at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 13, 2008. A replay of the telecast will be on Versus TV on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 5:00pm.
Forrest Lucas, founder and CEO of Lucas Oil served as Grand Marshall for the Lucas Oil Indy Mile. The company played a major role in bringing the race back to the Indiana State Fairgrounds after a long hiatus.

Among the racing legends on hand at the Lucas Oil Indy Mile were former champions Kenny Roberts, Jay Springsteen, and Nicky Hayden. The legendary Indy Mile provided breathtaking thrills throughout the racing with the finish coming down to a handlebar-to-handlebar duel between Kenny Coolbeth and Chris Carr.
