Wolverhampton are to make a major announcement regarding future team plans at their history-making relegation race-off with Peterborough at Monmore on Tuesday (7.30pm).
Parrys International Wolves owner Chris Van Straaten is giving no clues about the matter, but all the indications are the first signing for 2009 will be unveiled.
Said Van Straaten: "After what has been a hugely disappointing season for our supporters, I feel they deserve to be the first to know this news.
"It's a massive night for the club, we never wanted to be in this position of fighting for our Elite League future, and I'm sure the contribution of our supporters will help our chances.
"We want them all out in force. I've won three league titles in my time with the club, but they pale into insignificance when you look at a relegation battle. The clashes with Peterborough are the most important in the club's history."
Monmore Green will stage the first leg - the first-ever senior event on a Tuesday at the famous venue - with the return at the East of England Showground on Thursday.
The losers will face either King's Lynn or Edinburgh for a place in next year's top flight.
