The most commonly asked question recently has been – when will the team be presented with the Premier League trophy?
The only reason for the delay has been the desire to keep everyone focussed on the important matches we have been undertaking, continuing with this week’s Premier Playoff Final against King’s Lynn Stars.
On Friday 24th October Monarchs will either be racing Wolverhampton or Peterborough for a place in the Elite League (if they have beaten King’s Lynn), or else will put on a special challenge fixture.
The Championship Trophy will be presented on that evening.
It will not be the end of the season, as the Scotwaste Monarchs will race the Buildbase Glasgow Tigers in the second leg of the Scottish Cup on Friday 31st October (the match postponed from last Friday) to bring the curtain down on the most thrilling season in the club’s 60 year history.
