After last weeks free weekend its back to league action this Sunday (12th Oct) as the Falcons take on Bury in the last Northern League fixture of the season.  Tapes up at Redbraes Park, 12 noon.

With 3rd place in the league still a possibility the Falcons need to be at their best to overcome a Bury side who were only defeated by one point by the Falcons back in August in the corresponding away fixture.

With Craig Newsome and Gav Kennedy both missing for the Falcons the squad will need to pull out all the stops to secure the victory and sign off on what has been a succesful league campaign up until now.

On the International front, it has been confirmed this week that the Edinburgh Cycle Speedway Club have been awarded the running the 2009 Home International meeting at Redbraes on 13th June 2009.  This is a great honour for the club.  Preparations start now.
