ISLE OF WIGHT ISLANDERS
ISLE OF WIGHT co-boss Dave Pavitt insists all the pressure is on Sheffield ahead of the Young Shield Quarter-Final clash at Owlerton on Thursday.
A superb all-round display gave the Islanders a useful 21-point lead in Tuesday’s first leg.
Said Pavitt: “The pressure is on Sheffield before a wheel is turned thanks to the hard work we put in at our place, but we still have a job to do.”
WOLVERHAMPTON WOLVES
CHRIS Van Straaten wants at least a 14-point lead for his Wolverhampton side in the home leg of their relegation race-off against Peterborough at Monmore next Tuesday.
The sides will do battle to avoid a clash with the Premier League Play-off winners and Peterborough’s leg is next Thursday.
Said Van Straaten: “We need to build up a significant first leg lead and 14-points is a target the lads should be aiming for.”
