LAKESIDE HAMMERS
LAKESIDE boss Jon Cook insists the club’s future is bright – whatever the result of their Elite League Grand Final with Poole.
The Hammers will be looking for a handy home leg advantage on Monday night with the return in Dorset seven days later.
Said Cook: “Hopefully we’ll have more finals, more success and bigger crowds in the future. We’ve come this far and want to win.”
POOLE PIRATES
POOLE co-promoter Matt Ford believes the fans will be the winners at the Elite League Grand Final.
He said: “I expect two very competitive, tough meetings with plenty of tough and exciting racing.
“Lakeside isn’t Magnus Zetterstrom’s favourite track, but Lakeside’s Leigh Lanham isn’t a fan of our track. I believe we will see two terrific meetings.”
