Plymouth return to action on Friday evening when they face a test of their Premier League prospects with an inter-league challenge match against an Isle of Wight Select side.
The visitors have named virtually their full-strength Premier team with an evenly balanced top four of Jason Bunyan, Australian Cory Gathercole, Glen Phillips and former Exeter and Somerset favourite Paul Fry.
Providing the back-up will be talented young Australian Richard Sweetman and New Zealander Andrew Bargh.
“This will be a good test for the Plymouth public to show that they are ready to support Premier League racing,” says Devils chairman Mike Bowden.
Plymouth have strengthened their side for the challenge fixture by including experienced Cornishman Jason Prynne at reserve.
