COVENTRY Buildbase Bees race their final Elite League fixture of the season at Belle Vue on Monday - a match crucial to the relegation issue.
However, Bees themselves are safe from danger after an improved run of recent form with four points gained from away matches at Eastbourne and Ipswich taking them clear of Peterborough and Belle Vue.
Either the Panthers or the Aces will join Wolverhampton in the relegation race-off, and Belle Vue need a win on Monday to move themselves out of the dreaded eighth place.
Bees are guaranteed a sixth-place finish but will be keen to finish the Elite League season on a high and they were 14-10 up at Kirkmanshulme Lane earlier in the month when the match was abandoned.
They are, however, set to be without skipper Chris Harris who sustained back, rib and knee injuries in a practice crash for the Italian Grand Prix and had to sit out the meeting as a result. On the positive, Simon Stead is expected to return after just over a month out with a broken collarbone.
Belle Vue include former Coventry man Tomasz Piszcz at reserve, the Pole having recently joined the club as No.8.
The Aces are led by double World Champion Jason Crump, who will be hoping for a clear night after two crashes in the Grand Prix as well as a last-lap mechanical failure in the Final which handed victory to the Bees' Hans Andersen.
BELLE VUE: Jason Crump, Lukasz Jankowski R/R, Charlie Gjedde, Patrick Hougaard, Joe Screen, Tomasz Piszcz, Billy Forsberg.
BUILDBASE BEES: Hans Andersen, Olly Allen, Chris Harris R/R, Billy Janniro, Simon Stead, Filip Sitera, Ben Barker.
