WOLVERHAMPTON will know their opponents for the history-making relegation race-off by 10pm on Monday.

The Parrys International Wolves have finished bottom of the Elite League table in their 80th anniversary season – and now they face a fight to preserve their top flight status.

Belle Vue need to beat Coventry in Manchester on Monday night to avoid getting sucked into the race-off – should they win then Peterborough will be the opposition.

Wolves have confirmed the home leg will take place on Tuesday, October 14, in a bid to avoid a clash with the Elite League title decider the previous night live on TV.

The losers will then meet the winners of the Premier League Play-offs for a place in the 2009 Elite League.

There is no action at Monmore Green on Monday, September 29.
