Peterborough produced another competent and solid display to easily dispose of the challenge from Wolverhampton and complete their league fixtures in style.
The Panthers quickly set about the Wolves in devastating fashion, and some determined racing saw them build up an 18 points lead in just 7 heats.
Wolverhampton did recover somewhat in the second half but despite the usual tactical exchanges; they had no answer to the Panthers solid team work with everyone again scoring well.
Lukas Dryml was the early leader in heat 1 after a good start and although Freddie Lindgren briefly held second, this lasted only as far as the third bend before Ryan Sulivan found a way past.
It looked like the Panthers would securely a second 5-1 in heat 2 as Claus Vissing and Karol Zabik were racing away with it, but a broken chain for Vissing saw him fall heavily but thankfully on his feet quickly, with Zabik winning the re run fairly comfortably.
Henning Bager was first away in the third and Kenneth Bjerre joined him down the back straight and then took the lead, Niels Kristian Iversen chased hard after him and passed Bager on the next bend, but a retirement for Iversen on the last lap allowed Bager through to join his team mate for another maximum.
Vissing made light of his earlier crash to storm away to win heat 4, with most of the action centred on Danny King who chased down Jesper B Monberg and passed him going into the second lap, with the Panthers then pulling away.
Bjerre made it two wins out of two with another good start and first corner and it initially looked like Bager would join him as he threatened Risager but Freddie Lindgren managed to squeeze by Bager after chasing him for nearly 3 laps and it finished that way for a share of the spoils.
Sullivan took his first win of the night in heat 6 and was joined for another 5-1 by Dryml who after an early exchange with Ludvig Lindgren eventually saw off his challenge on the third lap.
Iversen briefly led the 7th but King took up the chase and passed him cleanly at the end of the first lap riding the wide line well to deny him a way back.
Vissing led initially but Nicolai Klindt was Wolves first race winner in heat 8 after he went wide on the 3rd bend, Dryml and Vissing gave chase but Klindt stayed on the fast line and was never troubled after that.
Klindt was at it again in heat 9 as he was brought in to replace the struggling Monberg, he produced another quick start and although Bjerre tried he was unable to close him down.
Wolves played the tactical in heat 10 just before the interval with Iversen taking the black and white helmet colour; initially it looked like a mistake because Dryml and Sullivan both made good starts but Iversen picked of Sullivan coming out of the first turn and then rounded Dryml on the top bend to win fairly easily.
Three heat winners in heats 8. 9 & 10 seemed to lift the Wolves challenge and they were at it again in the 11th with Freddie Lindgren raising his game this time to see off the early challenge of King, but the Panthers packed the minor places to ensure no further comeback.
Claus Vissing suffered his second crash in the 12th as he had a close encounter of the air fence kind coming out of the second bend of lap 1 after running out of space.
Thankfully he was again able to walk away but he conceded it wasn't his night and he wisely took an early shower. Bjerre won the rerun but was made to work hard initially by Iversen.
Freddie Lindgren won the 13th but Sullivan was left less than impressed with his first bend tactics as he was ruthlessly moved over and slowed expecting the race to be restarted, when it was allowed to continue he chased after Monberg and passed him on him on the 4th lap to follow home team mate King.
Zabik and Bager not for the first time this season claimed another heat 14 maximum as they rode either side of a surprised Klindt on the top bend to take the lead, with Klindt unable to recover the situation despite his best efforts.
Heat 15 was initially held up as the referee debated the inclusion of Zabik but withdrawals from others eventually saw him allow Karol to line up accordingly.
Bjerre won his fourth ride of the night to bring the meeting to a close, whilst Zabik figured early on but was passed by both Iversen and Freddie Lindgren during the race.
This was another great team performance from the Panthers and would surely have been even more emphatic but for the misfortunes of Claus Vissing, nevertheless they can take great heart from the knowledge that they easily accounted for a team they could well be playing again shortly with the relegation play off's looming.
At the Press Conference afterwards which also featured asset Neils Kristian Iversen, the match sponsors KRW Racing picked out Danny King as their man of the match, mentioning his wall of death tactics had earned him the accolade on the night.
