Some closely contested racing provided good entertainment for the fans in the Westcountry Four Team Tournament at Plymouth’s St Boniface Arena on Friday evening.
Sound all-round scoring by Jason Prynne, Seemond Stephens and Kyle Hughes provided victory for a team representing the Plymouth Devils while the other three teams proved to be well matched.
Mark Simmonds was unbeaten in his four rides and was well supported by Paul Starke to earn second place for the Devon Select, who finished one point ahead of the Kent Crusaders with Tom Brown top scoring for the Welsh Wizards.
