The Edinburgh Falcons faced Heckmondwike (West Yorkshire) in a double header of Northern League fixtures at Redbraes today 14th Sep.

With both matches being run on the 6 man team and 15 heat format both the matches remained tight throughout with Heckmondwike over the two matches providing more race winners than Edinburgh.  17 to 13.

Edinburgh’s ability to fill in the minor places behind the top scoring trio of Murphy, Kent and Carter for Heckmondwike eventually paying dividends in both matches.
