The world land speed record holder and 7 times AMA Grand National Flattrack Champion Chris Carr will be racing in the last round of the Silkolene Shorttrack UK Championship at Scunthorpe Speedway Stadium on October the 19th.
Chris who is a legend in the USA Flattrack racing, has won 75 Grand National championship rounds, more than any other Flattracker in history, among that list is 13 wins at Peoria TT races which are held in front of 40'000 fans every year.
At 41 he is still at the top of his game, only two weeks ago he won the Springfield Mile race in front of 25'000 Harley Fans and he is currently lying 4th in the Grand National Championship. In 2006 he broke the motorcycle world land speed record at Bonneville Salt Flats at an amazing 350.88 mph! which still stands today.
