After a disappointing reply from GoSpeed Ltd regarding the use of actual teams and riders currently competing in the UK we left it to the fans to decide on the next step for us to take. With an almost unanimous decision it was shown that the fans still wanted a speedway management simulation. Although they would rather be able to take control of their favourite team they would just as readily take control of a fantasy team.

To this end we have decided to continue to bring you the most realistic speedway management game to date. The basic structure of the software will remain unchanged as only the teams and riders will be changed.

We have now moved to a new forum where you will be able to keep up to date with all WildKaRD and Methdesignz projects that are currently in the pipeline as well as be informed of any new products to be released in the future. You can keep abreast of the developments and be one of the first to know when the releases are to be published by signing up to the official "5-1 Speedway Promoter" forum at www.methdesignz.co.uk

We still have the backing of the vast majority of the original in-game sponsors so there is very little change here to the names of those who will be available to sponsor your team.

A percentage of all game sales will be donated to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund as well as going towards sponsoring three British Under-21 riders who will have been decided upon from suggestions given to us via our forum members.
