Please Join us at Costa Mesa Speedway this Saturday Night, Sept. 6th as Costa Mesa Speedways 40th Anniversary season begins to wind down and although there are only 5 races left they all promise to be action packed.

Saturday night you will witness some awesome racing as the top racers in the country compete for the famed Warren Russell Cup! This event honors Speedways long time benefactor, sponsor, friend and fan "Grandpa" Warren Russell. Many thanks to Warren, wife Evie and sons Ron and Don for the continued support of Speedway racing in the United States.

Last year the Warren Russell Cup was won by "Flyin" Mike Faria for the 5th time! The event began in 1989 and remains one of the most prestigious events on the Costa Mesa Speedway racing schedule. Mike would love to repeat tonight but a full field of Champions, seasoned hardcores, and red hot rookies want the Cup for themselves.

Rider of the week is Brad Sauer #21! So be sure to come early for an autograph.

Next week International Speedway is proud to present Speedway racing and insane Freestyle motocross BACKFLIP! If you have never seen these fearless young men perform live you won't want to miss it!

Please don't forget about September 27th Costa Mesa Speedways 40th  REUNION! Larry, Harry, Rick, Mike, Bruce, Sonny, Bobby, Dennis, Jerry, Rapid Ron, Gene Gene, Danny and more will all be in attendance. The Jack Milne Cup will be up for grabs, a huge vintage bike show, bench racing, autograph session and legends parade laps and match races will be featured. All past racers, fans, sponsors and officials and you are requested to be in the house!
