Croatian teenager Jurica Pavlic has been signed to ride for the Swindon Robins in 2009.
Prior to the victory against Wolverhampton on Thursday evening Pavlic signed a contract for the 2009 season on the Abbey Stadium centre green.
His signature follows an absolutely outstanding stint for Swindon since making his Robins' debut on August 4th. In just seven meetings for the club Pavlic has mustered an incredible paid 94 points.
In October the nineteen year old competes in the World U21 final.
Swindon team manager Alun Rossiter is excited by the signing: 'It was always the aim of the club to ensure that Jurica returned for a full season in 2009. We are naturally delighted that Jurica has decided Swindon is the right club for him to fully launch his British career.
Jurica's inclusion in the 2009 squad is very exciting for Swindon Speedway. During his short time with the club he has shown remarkable talent, flair, speed and skill. The supporters are in for a real treat next year as Jurica continues to improve as a rider, I think he can go a long way in speedway.'
