With Germans Matthias Kroeger and Stefan Katt both missing Saturday night’s (September 6th ) match at Rye House due to World Longtrack commitments, Somerset  have named guest replacements in Robert Ksiezak and James Holder. With Kroeger and Katt securing just one point between them in Bank Holiday Monday’s Cup clash at Hoddesdon, these changes may effectively strengthen them for Saturday’s League encounter.

Somerset are the “Part 2” opposition for a double header that will earlier see the Silver Ski Rockets face Newcastle. The start time will be at the earlier than usual 6pm to accommodate 30 heats of racing. Admission is: Adults £20, Seniors £16, Children £3.

Following Sunday’s wash-out at Newcastle, the Silver Ski Rockets and Diamonds have agreed the new date of Sunday, September 14th for Rye’s return to Brough Park. The match will form the second part of a double header that earlier brings the home side up against Edinburgh.

The Kart Raceway Cobras face their penultimate away match of the season at Redcar on Thursday night (September 4th). They will be the Cub’s first opponents as part of a double header (start time: 6.30pm) that also sees the home side face Boston.
