WOLVERHAMPTON start a hectic spell of three meetings in as many days at Swindon on Thursday – with two riders making their debut.
Morten Risager and Ludvig Lindgren were due to race on Monday in the home clash with Ipswich which was washed out and has now been re-arranged for September 15.
David Howe is set to return after a few days rest with a broken bone in his foot – but Niels Kristian Iversen is missing with shoulder damage and the rider-replacement facility will operate.
Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “The absence of Niels is a real blow because he’s just gone below Freddie Lindgren in the averages so we can’t use a guest.
“It sums up the way our season has been going but we will still go into the three away meetings with a positive attitude to achieve as much as possible.”
After Swindon the Monmore men go to Lakeside on Friday and Eastbourne on Saturday.
Then on Monday the club hosts a test match between England Under-23 and their Australian counterparts with all children aged 15 and under admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
SWINDON: Leigh Adams, James Wright, Mads Korneliussen, Sebastien Alden, Troy Batchelor, Manuel Hauzinger, Jurica Pavlic.
WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Morten Risager, Niels Kristian Iversen R/R, Jesper B Monberg, David Howe, Nicolai Klindt, Ludvig Lindgren.
