This Saturday night Costa Mesa Speedway presents Orange County Harley Davidson night, one hell of a good time!

A full program of professional Speedway motorcycle racers and fearless Harley hardcores racing their street legal Hogs on the unforgiving Costa Mesa Speedway oval, are featured. Thanks to the crew at Orange County Harley Davidson for making this one of the seasons most exciting and best attended events.
 
Rider of the week is #139 Shaun Harmatuik. Be sure to come early for an autograph and photo. Shawn has been over sea's racing and is happy to be back at good ol' Costa Mesa with all his family, friends, and fans
 
Congratulations to last week winners Shawn "Mad dog" McConnell, Robert "Crazy" Christian and Brad Moreau who took advantage of a perfectly prepared race track to top stiff competition and claim the honor, glory and plastic trophy that comes with being a Speedway Champion. Wow! How about those crazy sidecars! Thanks to Joe Jones and crew for putting together a super thrilling show which included close racing, bumping, crashing and even a burning rig! Too much fun! It's not always easy the first week back from the Fair but, all of our competitors, employees and officials did a great job and produced an excellent event.
 

Please don't be at  Costa Mesa Speedway next week Aug. 30th as we will be dark for the Labor Day weekend! We will return on Sept. 6th with the John Mattherson Cup resented by Mission Motorsports. A huge program of Speedway motorcycle racing, Sidecars, PeeWee50' and Juniors take to the famous "bullring" oval in honor and memory of Speedway sidecar racer, supporter and sponsor John Matterson! As John would say "drive fast and take chances"!
