Visiting riders Harland Cook and Dean Felton from Sittingbourne and Gary Cottham from Rye House are included in an attractive line-up for the Silverline Best Pairs at Plymouth’s St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.30 pm).
Cook, a talented 19-year-old, won the British under 21 qualifying round at Plymouth earlier this season and forms a powerful pairing with his Sittingbourne club captain Dean Felton.
Devils skipper Seemond Stephens links up with Jason Prynne in an all-Cornish pairing while Mark Simmonds will be partnered by promising youngster Danny Stoneman.
Cottham lines up alongside Plymouth’s high-scoring reserve Paul Starke while David Gough and Jamie White-Williams form an all Devils combination.
Tom Brown and Nicki Glanz are ruled out through injury while Kyle Hughes misses out with his Premier League club Sheffield in action at Scunthorpe.
Line-up:
Seemond Stephens and Jason Prynne, Harland Cook and Dean Felton, Mark Simmonds and Danny Stoneman, David Gough and Jamie White-Williams, Paul Starke and Gary Cottham, Ben Reade and A N Other.
