COVENTRY chief Allen Trump was left fuming after his bid to include Hans Andersen in the 51-38 defeat at Peterborough was blocked.

Trump was told his new team declaration failed to meet the deadline and Andresen will now make his Bees debut on Monday.

Said Trump: "I don't believe that walking out, in front of what was probably Peterborough's biggest crowd of the season, was really an option.”

POOLE PIRATES

POOLE boss Matt Ford is calling on the sports’ top brass to award Aussie ace Chris Holder a place in next year’s Grand Prix series.

Holder has enjoyed a sensational first full season in the Elite League after making the switch from the Isle of Wight.

Ford said: “Anyone who has seen this kid will understand what I'm talking about. I have absolutely no doubt Chris Holder would light up the world championship.”
