BEN Powell will once again deputise for the injured Lee Smethills in Sheffield's trip to King's Lynn on Wednesday night (7.45pm).

Powell, a former Sheffield youngster, now races for Scunthorpe and made an appearance for Sheffield in the defeat at Stoke at the weekend.

The club have also confirmed they have agreed a deal with James Birkinshaw to return to the club, subject to BSPA approval, in Thursday's home clash with Berwick.

King's Lynn and Sheffield are deadly rivals after the sensational play-off clash between the sides last October when Tigers ended the Norfolk club's hopes of retaining their title.
