We are absolutely delighted to announce that, in a groundbreaking sponsorship tie up with leading South Coast radio station Wave 105, our stadium here at the home of the Wightlink Islanders has been re-named and will be now known as The Wave 105 Smallbrook Stadium.

Based near Southampton, Wave 105 broadcast on 105.2fm to nigh on two million people in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex and right here on the Isle of Wight broadcasting not only a variety of hits but also the very latest mix of local, national and international news and sport as well as features galore 24 hours a day, seven days a week..

They join our very good friends Wightlink Car Ferries as the club's major sponsors and we look forward to an equally long and mutually beneficial relationship with Wave 105.

Speaking of the deal, our club chairman Mike Bellman said, "We are absolutely overjoyed to have finalised this tie up with Wave 105fm and look forward to a long and successful tie up with them which I feel sure will be of mutual benefit as has our long and healthy relationship with Wightlink.

Martin Ball, Wave 105 Managing Director, commented “Everyone at Wave 105 is pleased to be involved with the stadium because Speedway is a great sport and the Islanders are ambitious. This valuable association is part of our long term strategy to partner with the regions leading teams.”

As part of the deal, in return for our stadium here at Ashey Road, Ryde being known from this moment on as The Wave 105 Smallbrook Stadium we will receive extensive coverage from Wave 105FM each and every day and much, much more including a dedicated page on the station's own website at www.wave105.com
