Plymouth host the first round of the British Sidecar Speedway Championship at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.30 pm).
The event provides a switch of entertainment from the usual two-wheeled action with the Devils racing in a league match away to Boston the same evening.
It promises to be an exciting meeting with the top sidecar racers battling for the British Championship on their 1,000cc outfits.
Cornish experts Matt Tyrell and Shaun Yates, who finished fourth last year, will face competition from a number of leading combinations including 2007 champions Gary Jackson and Carl Blyth, Craig Cheatham and Dave Hogan, Mick Cave and Ben Goddard, Ivor Matthews and Tony Miles, and Peter Lloyd and Nick Wilson.
