Wolverhampton owner Chris Van Straaten has called on supporters to have their say on the future structure of league racing in the UK.
Van Straaten is due to attend a series of top level meetings within the next month to discuss the way forward - with less meetings a possibility.
And he's announced plans for a talk-in on Wednesday, August 6 - before putting his views forward to colleagues within the sport's top brass.
Wolverhampton hold a hugely popular talk-in on the eve of every season, but Van Straaten wants to know what the public want from the sport when the event takes place at Chillington WMC, close to Monmore Green.
"There are a series of meetings planned within the British Speedway Promoters' Association with a view to forward planning," said Van Straaten. "And I'd like to know how the fans feel about the structure of the sport.
"There is plenty of talk about the Elite League and the possibility of staging it on one night per week with less meetings throughout the season. I'd like to know what supporters feel.
"Whenever we hold a talk-in at Wolverhampton all the decsions have already been made, both in terms of the league structure and our own team plans.
"I've been in communication with several supporters via e-mail from our official club website of late and a lot of sensible views have been put forward which I've replied to. Now this is an opportunity for everyone to step forward and have their say, mainly on the structure of the sport and also on Wolverhampton matters."
