PETERBOROUGH PANTHERS
MICK Bratley has quit his positions of co-promoter and commercial director at Elite League club Peterborough.
Bratley's decision follows an apparent collapse in takeover talks at the East of England Showground, but he will continue to work with present Panthers captain Hans Andersen.
He said: "I've enjoyed my time and I would like to particularly thank the many people behind the scenes who tirelessly keep the club running."
COVENTRY BEES
COVENTRY have completed the permanent transfer of Ben Barker from Reading.
Barker has impressed in his outings as the Bees' stand-by rider, and he will continue to ride for Stoke in the Premier League this season.
Bees chief Allen Trump said: "Ben's been a revelation when he's ridden for us, and we saw it again on Friday. Nothing seems to faze him, he just goes out there and does it."
