Belle Vue will give a Danish star of the future his English debut in the Greggs Junior championship at Kirkmanshulme Lane tomorrow (Wednesday, July 16) (7 30).

Peter Juul Larsen, 17, signed for Glasgow at the weekend although he is not expected to join their Premier League side until next season.

He is also on the books at Polish League club Tarnow, who have a working relationship with the Aces.

Gordon Pairman, a promoter at Belle Vue and Glasgow, said: "Peter has come through the Danish youth system which has a terrific reputation for producing talent.

"He was recommended to Glasgow very strongly by the same person who told Belle Vue about our recent signing, Patrick Hougaard.

"Peter is two years behind Patrick but it will be very interesting to see how he performs against English lads of a similar age."

Tomorrow's field includes Scott Richardson and Adam McKinna whose fathers, Derek and Kenny respectively, used to ride for the Aces.
Ben Hopwood and Gareth Isherwood, from Cadishead, will carry the local hopes.

The Aces have made two late enforced changes to the field. Daniel Greenwood has pulled out and is replaced by Paul Starke while Greg Blair was injured at Newcastle on Sunday and has had to withdraw. His place is taken by Benji Compton.

Revised line up: Ben Hopwood, Ben Taylor, Adam Wrathall, Scott Richardson, Gareth Isherwood, Aaron Summers, Adam McKinna, Benji Compton, Byron Bekker, Daniel Halsey, John Branney, Peter Juul Larsen, Jade Mudgeway, Gary Irving, Paul Starke, Scott Meakins.
