Coventry Speedway: Match preview - Belle Vue Aces v Bees

COVENTRY Buildbase Bees expect to be back to something at least approaching full strength for Monday's tricky-looking trip to Belle Vue.

Injuries and international meetings have decimated their line-up over the last week but they should travel to Kirkmanshulme Lane with six of their regular seven riders.

Rory Schlein and Simon Stead are back in the team and looking to bounce back after they failed to make it into the Grand Prix qualifying Final over the weekend.

Bees also expect captain Chris Harris and Olly Allen to return from injury, which would leave just Billy Janniro (shoulder) on the sidelines.

They come up against an Aces team who have their own injury problems - but who appear to have been able to bring in strong replacements.

Swindon's James Wright, a former Belle Vue man, guests for the injured Lukasz Jankowski, whilst with reserve Nick Simmons also ruled out, the Aces use their No.8 Robert Ksiezak - a rider arguably in the best form of his career at present.

The home side will use rider replacement for third heat-leader Joe Screen, whilst talented Danish youngster Patrick Hougaard makes his home debut as the Aces are one of the clubs who have been able to make a change under a revised points limit this month - Coventry had not ridden enough matches by the June 15 cut-off to enjoy that option this month.

It is the start of another busy week for the Bees ahead of the break for the Speedway World Cup, as they also travel to Ipswich on Thursday and face a home clash with Swindon on Friday.

BELLE VUE: Jason Crump, James Wright, Charlie Gjedde, Billy Forsberg, Joe Screen R/R, Robert Ksiezak, Patrick Hougaard.

BUILDBASE BEES: Chris Harris, Olly Allen, Rory Schlein, Billy Janniro R/R, Simon Stead, Stan Burza, Andreas Messing.
