It’s back to league action this weekend (6th July) as the Falcons take on Astley & Tyldesley at home in a Northern League match.  Tapes are up at Redbraes at 2pm.

The greater Manchester outfit have flirted with the Premier League of Cycle Speedway racing in the UK on a couple of occasions in the past but have been unable to maintain a consistency of quality riders to sustain a successful challenge.

However, they have been a stalwart of the Northern League and club secretary Mike Hack is no stranger to Edinburgh and will no doubt be hoping to travel north with as strong a squad as possible.

You never know they may appear with several of their Polish imports which would give the Falcons a great challenge which they are more than looking forward to.
