Ekstraliga news and results from 20 June 2008. Update from MSJ Speedway as usual.

Second half of the season is here and league table will be clarifying soon. Few things are nearly certain now. Torun wants to win the league and Tarnow got to enjoy the bottom this year.

Wroclaw-Tarnow 61-29

Tarnow came to Wroclaw to battle for a bonus point. Battle was lost in heat one losing Tobi Busch who badly crashed being hit from behind and to everyone’s surprise being excluded. After heat one things went smoothly for Wroclaw. Tarnow leader – Janusz Kolodziej was only able to gate only to be passed on the way. Kevin Doolan looks like might not get too many more rides in Eliga this year after another poor show. On Wroclaw side Crumpie rides as he usually does also god day by Jeleniewski. This meeting left Tarnow only with illusionary dreams of playoffs.

Atlas Wroclaw:
9. Tomasz Jedrzejak (3,3,3,0,1) 10

6. Tobias Busch (w,-,-,-) 0

Torun-Leszno 44-46

Black Friday for Torun – the team had been unbeaten only to lose a home meeting. Fans certainly were more than just surprised. Hans can’t have been too happy with the paycheck over that day scoring only 3+2. Superb riding by Hampel for whom riding for Ippo looks like doing a lt of good.

Rzeszow-Gorzow 44-48

Rzeszow fails their still decent crowd again. Two home meetings lost one away won – strange, isn’t it? Vaculik from top to bottom. Lampart is back scoring points. Povazhny who scored 15 at Tarnow away moved outside the team. This loss might mean that Rzeszow should seriously consider two things: prepare for battle to remain in the league, change track man.
