PETERBOROUGH PANTHERS
KENNETH Bjerre could miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken leg in a Danish League meeting.
The Peterborough man was riding for Esjberg and he has broken the same leg he broke in 2005.
Peterborough owner Colin Horton said: “I’m absolutely devastated for him, he was just starting to come good this year and then this happens. It’s a massive blow both for Kenneth and for Peterborough.”
SCUNTHORPE SCORPIONS
SCUNTHORPE have axed Benji Compton from their Premier League side.
And the Scorpions have slammed speculation that Ben Powell could be his replacement when new averages come into effect next month.
Promoter Rob Godfrey said: “You have to get the best out of the points limit and whilst Benji has maintained his average we find we have three points to utilise and someone had to make way.”
