Astley & Tyldesley hosted Round 2 of the North West Go-Ride Grand Prix series at Gin Pit on Thursday.

Coach Gary Nuttall led the session, which featured handicap racing, to cater for the range of age differences in the 11 rider field. This evened up the scores somewhat, but Ben Dickenson still showed his ability, dropping just one point from his four rides, whilst Jason Elliott lost out only to a machine failure last time out.

Laura Watson won two races in her first competitive outing.

North West Go-Ride Grand Prix Round 2 scorers:
Ben Dickenson 15, Jason Elliott 12, Laura Watson 12, Hollie Barnes 11, Joel Partington 11, Adam Thompson 10, Stefan Whitelegg 10, Elliott Barnes 10, Adam Watson 9, Matthew Turnbull 8, Adam Turnbull 7.
Referee - Gary Nuttall.
