Wolverhampton Speedway: Match preview - Wolves v Ipswich Witches

WOLVERHAMPTON look to get back to winning ways when they face Ipswich at Monmore Green on Monday (7.30pm).

Peter Adams' side know they cannot afford any further slip-ups at home this season - and the pressure is on for them to start winning away - if they are to have any chance of reaching the top four play-offs.

Ipswich include former British Under-21 champion Edward Kennett as a guest for their injured skipper Chris Louis who has had surgery on a broken arm. Wolves will be at full strength.

Said Adams: "I can't deny the fact that we've put ourselves under some pressure and it's down to the boys to respond now.

"Only two of the nine Elite League teams have so far got maximum records at home, so we're not the only ones to have slipped up on our own track, but we cannot afford to do it again.

"Ipswich are a good, solid team with strength throughout and if they're firing on all cylinders we'll have a real fight on our hands."

The Monmore men have already put the Witches out of the Knockout Cup this season but were beaten in Suffolk when the side met in the Elite League 10-days ago.

WOLVERHAMPTON: Freddie Lindgren, Ales Dryml, Niels Kristian Iversen, Nicolai Klindt, David Howe, Christian Hefenbrock, Kenneth Hansen.

IPSWICH: Edward Kennett, Robert Miskowiak, Tobias Kroner, Steve Johnston, Jarek Hampel, Piotr Swiderski, Chris Schramm.
